Last night, Front Page, a guy you may recognize from around here, performed at Great Scott in Boston. I went out to see him, and he had a solid set. I won’t lie, I’ve been going to school with the guy for a few years, and have seem him perform countless times, but this was easily his best. He’s definitely been workin’ on his performance, and the tracks are soundin’ kinda hot too.

Above is a video of his remix to Asher Roth’s “I Love College,” affectionately titled “Black In College.” After the jump, check out footage of him performing other new tracks at the show.

Hartford, CT and Boston MC Front Page has been releasing tracks via his MySpace every other week lately, and his past two drops are ones to keep your eye on. Starting with a spot on Movado’s “I’m So Special Remix,” Page dropped “Killin’ This” last week. The song features a cool lil Jay-Z sample on the hook and a melody that will probably be stuck in your head the rest of the day. Check it out below.

Ain’t nothin’ like a song called “Money” to get your mind off the recession.

This brand new track comes courtesy of my man Front Page, who was featured on The NU Tape. You’ll be seeing a lot more of him very soon. And if he keeps coming like this, it’s going to be something to look forward to. The track is produced by fellow NU-Tape alum, Ryan “The Captain” Durkin.
