Can’t lie, I was pretty captivated by this. It was like watching a train wreck, and it felt too real.

As for the story behind this; it was allegedly a music video shoot turned short film. It was shown at a festival recently from what I read. And now it’s on the internets.

Just got word via Live Nation’s Twitter that the Kanye West/Lady Gaga tour has been cancelled.

Media Take Out said yesterday they heard rumors that Ms. Gaga wanted out. As you may remember though, Kanye did mention on Leno that he wanted to take some time off to clear his head.

Hope he gets everything sorted out that he needs to. That was an ominous name for a tour too, shit…

I was really diggin’ the first leak from Scratch’s upcoming LP, Loss 4 Wordz when it dropped some time ago. Well now we have two more tracks, both of which are on the LP, which drops next week on the 26th.

Some big features for a first LP.

YN posted some footage from is vault of a 2003 show Rocafella did in Puerto Rico, where the whole roster was in full force. Above is Kanye West performing “The Wire,” like it was his new single.

Damn.

That’s cuz it was his new single in ‘03.

2003 seems so ancient when you think of it like that. Hit the jump for Jay spittin’ a freestyle that later would become “The Threat,” and Freeway doin’ “Flipside.”

Yeah, I can’t tell this video was directed by Hype Williams at all.

Does the internet do sarcasm?

DOWNLOAD: The Outfit Feat. Kanye West, GLC, Timmy G, & Arrow Starr - “187th”

GLC just shared this vintage recording of him and Kanye from way back in the day (1998 I’m guessing by the picture’s date). That’s Yeezy on the beat and on the hook.

via GLC’s blog:

I just wanna say thank you to Ms. Donda West for saving our lives! She allowed me, Timmy G, Really Doe & Arrow Starr to get out the hood & come to her house to get out our dreams @ an early age when even our own family members thought we were crazy for wanted to make music! Without her ain’t no tellin’ how we would of ended up! God blessed us with her presents and in return we gave the world a peace of our world! This is an early recording from the group then known as “The Outfit” from 1996. It was produced by a young Kanye West & featured a young GLC, Timmy & Arrow Starr. Kanye lends his vocals on the hook. Without further due I give you the original

A few days ago I saw this video and thought it was interesting because J.D. says at one point that he loved sampling, and would always sample, but stopped because he lost so much money doing it. Now that he’s working on mixtapes again, he can mess with the MP and samples like he used to.

Oddly enough, when I went to post this today, Jermaine had already put up another video of him in the studio messin’ with the Ocean’s 11 soundtrack and Kanye’s “Amazing.” Who isn’t messin’ with Amazing these days?

All these videos are promo for a mixtape he’s droppin’ in 2 weeks, called the O6 Mixtape.

I’ve always had respect for JD’s production game, and to actually see him working in the studio after all these years is kinda interesting. Oh that internet…

DOWNLOAD: South Park - Gay Fish Full Version (Kanye West parody)

Remember the track they played at the end of the episode while Kanye gleefully swam with the fishes? Trey Parker and Matt Stone got together and released the full version of it.

I love any excuse I get to post stuff from my favorite show.

I like the way the recorded version of this song turned out. I don’t know if GLC will stick, but he got a good video out of it, and at least the aesthetics match the vibe of the song. I was kinda waiting for something dramatic to happen the whole video though.
