Here’s a dope performance of “I Do It For Hip-Hop,” off Theater of the Mind.

If The Roots perform with every musical guest, or at least the rappers, I think you’ll be seeing a lot of Jimmy Fallon reposts around here.

Following up on the radio rip I posted of the DJ Premier/Luda cut from ‘Cris’ new album, here’s DJ Preem and Ludacris in the studio goofin’ around with a beat and Premo talks about where he’d rate Ludacris in comparison to his favorite MCs of all time.

But you know me, it’s here because it’s Premo footage in the studio. Videos of beat makin’ (pause?) + Legendary producer = Mark’s approval.

Download: Ludacris- MVP (Produced by DJ Premier)

It looks like DJ Premier was recruited for a cut on Ludacris’ new album Theater of the Mind. The version that’s out now is a radio rip, but I’m feelin’ it so far. I like collabos people don’t expect. Sometimes they work out, sometimes they don’t, but Luda definitely has the charisma to go in over a Premo beat.

Thanks to illRoots.

I love hip-hop because I love 2 minute trailers for 4 minute videos. But really, there’s some good ass rhymes courtesy of Mr. Bridges.
